The incidence of Covid-19 continues to decrease in the Canary Islands, which this Sunday has reported 287 new cases. In addition, in the last hours there have been two deaths: an 82-year-old male in Tenerife and an 86-year-old female in Fuerteventura. Both suffered from previous pathologies and remained in hospital, according to the Ministry of Health.
The total number of active cases currently in the Canary Islands is 15,812, of which 106 are admitted to the ICU and 396 remain hospitalized on the ward.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 132.17 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 341.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds this Sunday 129 cases, Gran Canaria 103, Lanzarote 27, Fuerteventura 19, La Palma 7. La Gomera 2 and El Hierro none.
The data reported on this day represent a decrease of 191 positives compared to last Sunday, when 478 new infections were reported.
