The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, pointed out this Tuesday that, within the framework of the fight to bend the curve of coronavirus infections, he is making available to the Autonomous Communities the 2,000 members of the Army to carry out tracking tasks.

In the institutional appearance he made from the Palacio de La Moncloa after holding the Council of Ministers, Sánchez announced that several measures will be carried out to reinforce the work of the fight against the pandemic, respecting that the autonomous communities are the ones that must manage the situation in each territory.

«There are 2,000 soldiers available to the CCAA, especially those who have more difficulties, and that number could be increased«, he pointed out, and then recalled that he has made available a 'Covid fund' of 16 billion euros for the communities to reinforce the fight against the virus.
