The Canary Islands exceeds the barrier of 3,000 daily infections for the first time and adds two deaths

The Canary Islands has registered 3,123 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, so the total number of accumulated cases in the Islands since the beginning of the pandemic is 128,958 with 24,511 active, of which 52 are admitted to the ICU and 298 remain hospitalized. Likewise, in the last hours the death of two people has been notified, according to the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 677.36 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 989.73 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Until this Friday, a total of 2,640,503 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 19,982 correspond to Thursday.

By islands, Tenerife adds 1,862 cases with a total of 14,718 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 833 more than the previous day and 6,746 active. Lanzarote adds 227 new cases with 992 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 89 new cases and 1,551 active.

La Palma adds 54 new positives, so it has 307 active. El Hierro adds 27 new positives, so it has 74 active cases. La Gomera adds 30 new cases, so its assets are 120.
