The Canary Islands continue without deaths since Monday, registering five positives and 33 discharges this Thursday

In the islands, 1,685 patients have already overcome the disease

The Canary Islands have not registered deaths from coronavirus since last Monday, so the number of deaths remains at 155 people; adding this Thursday five new positives, for an accumulated of 2,312 cases since the beginning of the crisis; and 33 discharges, until reaching 1,685 patients who have recovered.

Of the total cases, 472 remain active, of which 418 remain in their homes and the remaining 54 are hospitalized --40 on the ward and 14 in the ICU--.

In addition, of the total number of positives registered by the virus in the archipelago, which already affects some 56 municipalities, 1,262 are women and 1,050 are men.

Regarding deaths, Tenerife registers 109 deaths, followed by Gran Canaria (38), Lanzarote (6) and La Palma (3). The rest of the islands continue without counting any deaths. The most affected age group continues to be that of those between 80 and 89 years old.
