The residents of Los Ancones in Costa Teguise denounce the water losses they suffer in the area. "We are tired of having to call Canal Gestión every two weeks to fix the faults in the houses," they tell La Voz.
"We are fed up," they complain. "Filing a report every two weeks for the last four years is not normal," says one of the residents. But that is not the only thing that worries them: "the water losses cause damage to the path that gets flooded, cracks and makes it difficult for vehicles to pass," he adds.
They also do not see it as "normal" that the problem has not been solved yet. "Being unable to definitively and effectively fix a loss that has been going on for years is not normal," they point out.
What is an "outrage" for them, as is "the waste of water": "On an island with water supply problems, seeing so much waste and neglect is outrageous to us," they acknowledge.

In addition, these losses cause damage to the path that gets flooded and cracked and makes it difficult for vehicles to pass.
They ask for "help to solve the problem", a question that "affects everyone", they conclude.
