The family of Manuel Cabrera Rodríguez, "Pollo de Tías" would like to thank all the people who have accompanied them in these days for their expressions of affection.
"We want to use these words to thank the countless expressions of affection, support and closeness from so many relatives, friends, neighbors of Tías and the entire island, from other islands and from the peninsula, for the death of our husband-father and grandfather: Manuel Cabrera Rodríguez, Pollo de Tías. We also thank the entire family of Canarian wrestling, from all the islands, from whom we have received so many messages.
Our recognition and gratitude to all the healthcare personnel of the Tías health center, the José Molina Orosa Hospital and the Insular Hospital, whose services we had to use on some occasions in recent times. Almost always finding excellent professionals, quick attention and that human touch that is appreciated in those difficult moments. Special thanks to the entire Emergency and Palliative care service of the General Hospital that in those final moments made the situation as bearable and comfortable as possible. Thank you.
Our thanks to the parish priest of Tías, to the entire congregation and faithful of San Antonio de Tías for the beautiful mass in memory. To the staff of the funeral home, the cemetery... to all those who fulfilled the last wishes of our family member. Thank you very much. Our thanks also to the island and regional media for the rapid and affectionate dissemination of the news.
We don't want to forget anyone in this thank you. It is difficult to forget so many expressions of affection and company from individuals, from anonymous people, who are so comforting in these difficult moments. As well as the condolences expressed by the Cabildo de Lanzarote or the City Council of Tías. Grateful to all.
