Residents of Costa Teguise have denounced the "unbearable smell" coming from one of the plots located between El Palmeral and the public courts, in the Lanzarote town. A situation that has caused the discomfort of citizens and so they tell La Voz. "You can't stand the bad smell even with a mask", one of them commented.
"They have set up a lake next to our house and we are missing out on having a picnic", the citizen joked. In addition, he points out that it could have been caused by a broken pipe. "Right on the pipe is located in a small pumping station next to the court."
It is not the first time that the residents of Costa Teguise have criticized the state of the town. Lack of irrigation in some areas or broken pipes, lack of maintenance of the gardens are some of the complaints of the citizens.
