“I find the state of Puerto del Carmen deplorable, both the beaches full of cigarette butts and garbage, as well as the avenue”, a resident denounces in a complaint sent to La Voz in which she wanted to make this problem visible.
In the images sent to this medium, you can see garbage accumulated in the sand, from wooden boards next to palm trees to debris scattered on the beach, as well as plastics, bottles and remains on the main avenue. You can also see how dry leaves combine with waste, such as soft drink cans, glass bottles and cigarette butts around the trees and garbage under the urban benches.
The aforementioned photographs show overflowing containers with dozens of boxes around them.
For these reasons, the complainant asks that the cleaning of one of the main tourist enclaves of the island be improved.
