María Luz, the wife of Pedro María Fuentes Tejero, owner of the 'Restaurante May' in Playa Honda, wanted to thank the good company of family, friends and doctors during her husband's illness.

The man, who died last December, received the affection of his relatives and acquaintances during his treatment. "I want to thank all those people who helped us in this difficult battle," the woman pointed out. In addition, she highlights the fundamental role played by the doctors at the Lanzarote hospital. "I wouldn't want to forget anyone, the workers at the José Molina Orosa Hospital, including those in palliative care and Oncology," she recalls, giving thanks.

She has also expressed her gratitude to the San Bartolomé City Council, specifically the Social Services, for their "affection" and "care." "I have no words of gratitude for the City Council," she revealed. Nor did she want to forget the customers of the establishment they had in Playa Honda, a place that was closed after his death. "To our customers and suppliers, and of course, to all our friends, together with the workers who formed a true family."

"I lack words of gratitude, but to not go on any longer, I thank you for your expressions of affection" and I regret "not having attended to them as we would have liked," the wife concluded.
