Complaints continue about the service of the ship 'Ciudad de Ibiza' on its journey from Lanzarote to Gran Canaria. A passenger has contacted La Voz to denounce the "lamentable" experience he had during the journey on July 25.
A trip that he describes as "hellish", along with the explanation of the different "shortcomings" that he observed throughout the journey to the other island. The citizen has clarified that the "ship either did not have air conditioning, or if it did, it was broken." In addition, he remarked that the "only existing ventilation was only given when opening the door that leads to the bow."
Regarding the facilities of the Naviera Armas ship, the passenger has criticized that the "infrastructure is truly painful, with only three toilets in total (men, women and disabled), only three benches on the bow, and about eight hammocks plus a helipad on the stern."
In addition, in the matter of the service of the workers, the man has highlighted the "little staff in relation to the passage, being noticeably appreciated during the chaotic disembarkation."
After the trip, the traveler has reached a clear conclusion. "Inside that ship I felt as if I had paid for a low cost service, even worse; a true odyssey of almost six hours," he pointed out. The man has warned the people of Lanzarote of the "desire not to take the ship again." "The experience is not to be repeated," the man added.
The Shipping Company affirms that the ship is in "perfect condition"
The company Naviera Armas has maintained that the ship is in "perfect condition and equipped for the transport of passengers and only 93 seats are put on sale, with a capacity of 96, so there would always be 3 free. "It has seven benches" in the corridor that is seen in the image, seven benches and two additional puffs", they have specified from the shipping company. In addition, "in the bar cafeteria and on the terrace there are another three puffs and on the helipad eight hammocks available", they have added.
