The Naviera Armas company has responded to the criticisms of the citizens of Lanzarote about the conditions of the ship 'Ciudad de Ibiza' that makes the journey from Arrecife to Gran Canaria.

The company has clarified that the ship is perfectly equipped for the transport of passengers and only 93 seats are put on sale, with a capacity of 96, so there would always be 3 free. "It has seven benches" in the corridor that is seen in the image, seven benches and two additional puffs", the shipping company has specified. In addition, "in the bar cafeteria and on the terrace there are another three puffs and in the heliport eight hammocks available", they added.

In addition to the transport of passengers, the ship is prepared for the movement of cargo, for the "two types of service", they pointed out. The ship, which makes 13 trips a week between the destinations of Arrecife, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, is a "well-prepared" ship, although it is a "smaller ship than others in the company in terms of leisure, in which there are not so many spaces destined for it", they pointed out.
