A resident of La Graciosa has denounced the "total abandonment" of the streets of the eighth island, due to the presence of telephone wiring on the roadsides, next to the houses.
"It is an area where many people pass by daily, and you can see the wiring that the workers left when they did the initial phase of the sewage system and left it exposed," details the neighbor.
In addition, he points out that some telephone cables have been damaged, which could be "a danger to citizens", and especially "for people with reduced mobility". "As they are elderly people, nobody does anything to remove them or give them a solution", he adds.
The neighbor assures that he has communicated this situation on several occasions to the Teguise City Council, and that when they went to repair it, they "hid it a little". "Now they are coming to the surface again, and they are traps for people."
