A reader has contacted La Voz to report the accumulation of waste generated by the management of small boats in the vicinity of the Castle of San Gabriel.
"The Red Cross should take charge and, if it is not their responsibility, call whoever has it. All of this is going to end up in the sea, in addition to degrading the environment of the Castle of San Gabriel and giving a pitiful image to the tourists who visit us," says the complainant.
"All solidarity and more, because that's why we are a democracy and a generous society that respects human rights, but we must protect our historical and natural heritage," says the reader.
The complainant demands to be able to "enjoy the environment in optimal conditions 365 days a year" and concludes by saying that "the people of Arrecife do not deserve this."
