A resident of Güime has contacted La Voz to denounce the "abandonment" suffered by residents of Camino al Invernadero by the City Council
"The residents of this street are completely abandoned. We all pay the taxes of this city council and the only service we have is a terrible container service that is paid separately," complains this citizen.
"We don't have a sidewalk or a lamppost on the entire street", adds this man, who points out that this implies "difficulties" for the elderly. In addition, he points out that the street "is not completely paved and is in very poor condition", stating that there are "cyclist accidents"
Animals killed by "motorcycles and quads that pass at high speed"
Apart from this, this man assures that "every so often" the neighbors have to collect "dead animals" from the road, through which "motorcycles and quads pass at high speed taking the lives of these stray animals or further damaging the road"
"We do not have an Internet connection since the City Council does not give the necessary permits to the telephone company", adds this resident, who states that he has offered "to pay the costs of the telephone cable", but that the company indicates that "the problem is that they have been waiting for the City Council's approval for some time."
