Zonzamas Plus Car Lanzarote achieved an important 29-25 victory against Salma Adesal at the San Bartolomé Municipal Pavilion. The batatero team, which was losing by five goals in the first half, signed a brilliant comeback supported by the defense and a revitalized attack in the final minutes.

The match started promisingly for Zonzamas, with Gleynis Reyes opening the scoring after 39 seconds. However, Adesal soon showed its ability to react, taking a 2-3 lead in the 4th minute. Andrea Claramonte quickly managed to equalize, but the exchange of goals favored the visiting team, which took a significant lead in the middle of the first half.

After the two minutes of superiority of the locals due to the direct disqualification of Carla Rebelles, the score remained stuck and forced coach Juan Rivera to call a time-out, but the reaction did not come. Adesal continued to increase its lead until it reached 13-18, the maximum distance of the match, in the 26th minute. Despite Zonzamas' efforts, the first half concluded with a 16-20 that reflected the visitors' superiority in that stretch.

The beginning of the second half was marked by Zonzamas' lack of effectiveness in front of goal, with only one goal in the first seven minutes. Even so, the batatero team maintained its composure and, little by little, reduced the difference thanks to defensive work. A goal from Brenda Roger in the 17th minute put Zonzamas within one goal (22-23) and a penalty converted by Gleynis Reyes sealed the tie at 23 in the 20th minute, restoring hope to the local fans.

In the key minutes, Ana Martín was decisive with a crucial penalty save, while two goals from Luana Schallmey in the 24th minute allowed Zonzamas to take the lead for the first time after many minutes (25-23). The good defensive work of Ingrid Roger and Nahomi Márquez, together with quick counterattacks, consolidated the score in favor of the locals.

Adesal tried to react by advancing the defense in the final stretch, but an exclusion of Andrea Roda and a penalty converted by Gleynis Reyes sealed the match. Zonzamas closed the match with a definitive 29-25, consolidating its leadership and adding two valuable points.

The next match will take place on November 30 on the court of Grupo Usa Mislata, which occupies the twelfth position after only being able to add one victory so far this season.
