On today, Sunday, the second and last day of the VIII César Manrique Trophy, the sailors Miguel Ángel Méndez (RCN Gran Canaria) and the Norwegian Martinius Hopstock (Atlantis Academy) maintained a tough fight for the final victory, arriving tied to the last round in which Méndez sealed his fourth victory against a seventh place for the Norwegian, with which the sailor from Gran Canaria won the victory in the absolute men's category.

A similar situation was experienced in the women's category in which Isabel Lang-Lenton (RCNGC) ended up beating Sofía Hernández (RCN Tenerife) by 7 points difference.

As in the inaugural day, the three planned races were held, completing the program in full. The sailors of the Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria stood out, managing to lead 5 of the eight podiums, the remaining three went to Atlantis Academy, Club Deportivo Código Cero and Real Club Náutico de Arrecife.

The absolute podium repeated its protagonists in the men's and women's sub 16 categories, Miguel Ángel Méndez (RCNGC) was the winner in both categories, the Norwegian Martinius Hopstock (Atlantis Academy) was second and Pedro Scherschinski (RCNGC) was third. In women's victories for Isabel Lang-Lenton (RCNGC), second and third place for the athletes of the Real Club Náutico de Tenerife, Sofía Hernández and Marta Mansito, respectively.

The Turkish Yoprak Gaglayan (Atlantis Academy) was proclaimed winner in sub 13 male, he was escorted on the podium by Cristian Ayoset Vega and Simón Martín, both from the Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria. The same Club took the top three places in the sub 13 female, Lili María Skomska as winner, second place for Rocío González and third for Genoveva Toubes.

The victories in sub 13 were distributed by the local sailors, Julián Suárez (CDC0) in boys and Valentina De (RCN Arrecife) in girls, second place for Santiago Bravo de Laguna (RCNA) and Lola Carrión (CDC0).

Successful participation with a total of 114 sailors from 7 countries, of which the RCNGC contributed the largest number with 30 participants, 18 RCN Arrecife, 16 RCN Tenerife, 12 Club Deportivo Código Cero, 11 Club Marítimo Varadero, 8 Atlantis Academy (Norway, USA, Turkey, Italy, Croatia and Estonia), 7 Club de Mar Radazul, 7 Club de Regatas 4 Vientos, 5 Real Club Náutico de San Sebastián.

After the completion of the day of regattas, the awards ceremony was held for the absolute winners and the top three classified in the sub 6, 13 and 11 male and female categories.
