Unión Deportiva Lanzarote visited Arucas CF on Sunday at noon, with the firm intention of continuing to present their credentials to be fighting for the top positions in the standings. The rojillos knew how to suffer in the first minutes, defending themselves from the rival's attacks, and with great effectiveness they went to the break with a two-goal advantage. In the final minutes, Ale Fuentes closed the victory, with UD Lanzarote winning 1-3.
The match was quite dynamic in the first half, with two teams offering a high pace of play. The first chance was for UD Lanzarote, with a run by Alex Cruz on the right, he gave back for the arrival of Gonzalo Di Renzo and the striker's shot did not find the three posts.
Then came the best chances for Arucas CF to take the lead, even hitting a free kick on the crossbar of the goal defended by Alejandro. The one who did not forgive was Gonzalo Di Renzo in the 27th minute, taking advantage of a ball theft by León Gómez and the pass that his teammate put to the penalty spot.

In the second half, Arucas took a step forward in search of the goal that would get them back into the game and on the counterattack UD Lanzarote could achieve a greater difference. With two minutes left for the end of the match, Ale Fuentes sealed the victory with the third goal for the rojillos. In the extension, Arucas narrowed the gap when Aníbal converted a penalty.
