UD Lanzarote scored again in the third away game of the season, conquering a point against CD Vera, a Tenerife team that has five draws this season. The Rojillos were dominated in the first half, reacting in the second half in which Dani López scored the equalizing goal. A second half in which UD Lanzarote had chances to turn the score around, not having clear ideas in the final meters.

From the beginning of the match, CD Vera tried to control the ball and create offensive actions. It would be UD Lanzarote who had the first dangerous chance, in a counterattack. A shot by Marcos Cabrera from the right side, with defender Pablo Gil taking the ball under the goalposts and clearing it for a corner kick.

CD Vera would take the lead in the 18th minute of the first half. Ramsés inside the area, took advantage of a good pass to beat Alejandro and send the ball into the back of the net. A goal protested by the UD Lanzarote defenders, who claimed that the scorer was offside and the assistant ran towards the center of the field to validate the goal.

The locals could have increased the difference in the 28th minute. Víctor's shot was met with a good intervention by goalkeeper Alejandro. Until the end of the first half, UD Lanzarote launched in search of the equalizing goal, although it sinned in many of the actions of precipitation. Most of the offensive actions of UD Lanzarote were controlled by the CD Vera defense.

UD Lanzarote made the first change in the 38th minute of the first half. Enzo, a youth player, debuted with the Rojillo first team, and it was through his side that most of the danger came. Miguel Gómez was in charge of occupying the left side of the Rojillo defense. With the score of 1 to 0, the first half came to an end.


The second half began with the dominance of UD Lanzarote, a team that launched in search of the equalizing goal. In the 50th minute, Borja Vera shot and his shot was deflected by goalkeeper Airam. Just a minute later, Dani López did not fail and culminated a quick counterattack to establish the tie on the scoreboard.

CD Vera had to play the last 23 minutes of the match with one less player on the field. Pablo Gil saw the second yellow card and left his team with ten players.

The Tenerife team had a good chance in the 69th minute, with a header from Josué that went wide. The response from UD Lanzarote came with a shot from Javi Melián, in an optimal position, which did not find the three posts of the local goal. UD Lanzarote did not know how to take advantage of the numerical superiority, lacking ideas in the offensive actions.

The last chance of the match was for CD Vera in extra time. Eli was in charge of executing a free kick from the front of the area, crashing his shot into the UD Lanzarote barrier. The score did not move and with the tie at one goal the match came to an end at the Salvador Ledesma.
