With a great atmosphere in the stands of the Lanzarote Sports City, the last match of the regular phase of group XII of the Third Federation was held. UD Lanzarote and Unión Sur Yaiza offered a quite intense and even match, with phases of dominance for each of the teams. The goalless draw benefits UD Lanzarote, with the "rojillos" maintaining the second position to be runners-up in the national category and achieving qualification for the next edition of the Copa del Rey.
The match began with the dominance of UD Lanzarote, with the locals putting high pressure to hinder the circulation of the ball by the visitors. A pressure that allowed them to steal several balls in the vicinity of the rival area, but actions that were not specified with dangerous chances on the goal of Unión Sur Yaiza.
In the 8th minute, a cross from Dani Febles from the left side was controlled by Ale Fuentes at the far post, but his shot went wide. Jorge Canillas also had a chance, with a cross from the right that he was unable to finish. Unión Sur Yaiza had the best chance, with a shot from Pato that crashed against the crossbar.
In the second half, UD Lanzarote was surpassed by a Unión Sur Yaiza that had more possession of the ball.
