An unbeatable first half was enough for UD Lanzarote to add the first victory of the season. The red and whites took advantage of the defensive fragility of the players from La Palma in the first half, going to the break with a three-goal advantage. Tenisca improved in the second half, reacting too late with Chema's goal that put them in the game. Rosmen, twice, Miguel Gómez and Dani López, were the authors of the goals for UD Lanzarote.
UD Lanzarote took control of the game from the start of the match, having the ball in their possession and approaching the rival area dangerously. In the first few minutes, Lanzarote was unable to specify their attacking chances, and Tenisca had many problems getting the ball under control from their own half.
The UD Lanzarote coach made several tactical modifications that gave the team more depth. Kennedy was placed at right back and Miguel Gómez as left inside, looking to attack down the wings and avoid the advances of the Tenisca wing-backs. In addition, Borja Vera was placed as a right inside, closer to the wing than in previous matches.
The red and whites took the lead in the 24th minute of the first half. Rosmen controlled a ball inside the area, passed to the arriving Miguel Gómez and he, from the edge of the area and with a shot with the outside of his left leg, sent the ball into the corner of the goal. Kilian's stretch was not enough to stop the beautiful goal scored by the UD Lanzarote inside player.
From the goal onwards, the dominance of the locals was accentuated and they began to overwhelm Tenisca's fragile defense time and time again. The opportunity that generated the second goal came on the counter-attack. Rosmen entered down the left wing, passed to the arriving Dani López and Alain naively ended up knocking the local player down inside the area. The penalty was taken by Rosmen and with a shot through the center of the goal he beat Kilian.
Just three minutes later came the third goal for UD Lanzarote. Rosmen took advantage of a defensive indecision to control the ball on the left side and beat the goalkeeper at the near post. Tenisca's reaction came a minute later, when Piti put a ball into the area for Chema and he did not miss the opportunity to beat Agoney.
Before the break, the UD Lanzarote fans were able to enjoy another goal from their team. On this occasion, the play started with a throw-in from Raúl from the left side, the ball was headed on at the near post by Rosmen and arrived dead at the far post, an area in which Dani López was unmarked to send it into the back of the net. The score was 4-1 at the end of the first half.
The first minutes of the second half were not very fast-paced, although as the period progressed, both teams livened up. SD Tenisca took a step forward and adjusted their defense with the entry of Cristofer after the break. UD Lanzarote continued to give a great sensation of danger every time they had the ball in their possession. The strong heat that was recorded at the time of the match did not discourage the strength of the two teams.
The goal scored by Dani López in the 64th minute of the match was not added to the scoreboard. The free kick from the right wing was taken by Marcos Cabrera, Dani López headed impeccably into the back of the net and the assistant raised the flag to cancel the action. A few minutes later, it was Chema who had the opportunity for SD Tenisca. Sota fought for a ball inside the area, sent in a cross that the striker finished off in front of goal and Agoney made a good save to prevent the goal.
SD Tenisca got into the match with thirteen minutes remaining. Chema fell inside the area in the presence of Raúl and the referee awarded a penalty in favor of the team from La Palma. The penalty was taken by Chema, making the score 4-2 on the scoreboard at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote. Fourth goal of the season for the Tenisca player and three of them scored from the penalty spot.
Tenisca tried in the final stretch of the match, with most of the attacks coming down the left wing, where Sota was easily getting inside. The locals defended against the visitors' attacks, with Agoney having to intervene in a shot from Cristofer. With the score at 4-2, the match came to an end, with UD Lanzarote adding their first victory of the season.
