UD Lanzarote returned empty-handed from their visit to Arucas CF, suffering another away defeat and offering the same performance as in recent weeks away from the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote. The red-and-whites conceded the first goal just before halftime, and in the second half, when they were playing their best, the locals scored their second goal. Nami reduced the deficit, and Arucas sealed the win in the final minutes of the match
The first part of the match was quite even, with hardly any dangerous chances. Just before halftime, Arucas CF took the lead when Néstor Gordillo headed in a cross from the right flank. The first half ended with a score of 1-0.
UD Lanzarote, despite the adverse result, took a step forward in the second half and had a good chance in the 3rd minute of the restart. Javi Martín controlled a ball inside the box, found himself in a clear position, and his shot did not end up finding the target.
Just when UD Lanzarote was playing its best on the field, Arucas CF scored their second goal. In a cross from the right wing, Alex Cruz, in an attempt to clear the ball, ended up putting it into his own net. Only five minutes later, UD Lanzarote reduced the deficit through Nami.
Arucas CF scored with five minutes left in the match, allowing Adrián Hernández to receive the ball inside the box and finish to beat Ruymán. The match ended with a 3-1 score, marking UD Lanzarote's third defeat of the season, causing them to lose several positions in the standings
