Resounding victory achieved by CD Buzanada at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote, defeating a UD Lanzarote that appeared apathetic for much of the match. The locals gave away the first half, during which Buzanada scored the first two goals of the match. In the second half, UD Lanzarote put more intensity into the game, but soon found themselves facing the third goal from the Tenerife team. Toñito reduced the difference, and Gerardo completed his magnificent performance with two more goals in the final stretch of the match.
A horrible first half was played by UD Lanzarote, one of the worst in recent seasons. The locals appeared apathetic on the field, facing a rival that was well-positioned and showing great confidence. Furthermore, the locals lacked intensity, making Buzanada comfortable and without struggling to defend their area.
UD Lanzarote presented some changes in their lineup due to injuries to goalkeeper Agoney, midfielder Javi Betancort, and forward Rosmen. Alejandro Martín made his debut this season in the local goal, Miguel Gómez occupied the attacking position, and Ayoze Pérez was positioned in the center of the field.
CD Buzanada took the lead in the 26th minute of the first half. The play began with a corner kick that was cleared by the UD Lanzarote defense, the rebound was collected by Gerardo on the left wing, who sent in a cross that was headed by Tato and finished in front of goal by Samu.

Shortly after, Krispy passed to Dai López, and the forward's shot hit a defender and went out for a corner, when the goal was already being celebrated in the stands.
UD Lanzarote started the second half with more intensity and putting the visitors in trouble. CD Buzanada shook off the local dominance by scoring the third goal of the match in the 53rd minute. Gerardo picked up a ball on the left side, his shot from inside the area hit the base of the post and ended up in the back of the net.
The match had become very difficult for UD Lanzarote, although the locals continued to look for a goal that would get them back into the game. A goal that arrived in the 73rd minute, with a masterful free-kick from Toñito, the ball went over the wall and into the top corner of the goal defended by Gabriel. Before this action, Gerardo could have scored the fourth, but was met by a good save from goalkeeper Alejandro.
CD Buzanada finished off the match in the 84th minute, completing a counter-attack and taking advantage of the local defense's weaknesses. A cross from the right wing was headed in by Gerardo, with the ball going in next to one of the posts.
Gerardo finished his festival at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote by scoring the fifth goal for CD Buzanada in the final stretch of the match.
