UD Lanzarote saw victory slip away in the extra minutes of the second half, with Iray Barreto scoring the equalizing goal for Ibarra in the 93rd minute of the match. After a bad first half, Quintero put UD Lanzarote ahead at the start of the second half. A goal that woke up Ibarra, with the Tenerife team seeking the equalizer and running into an inspired Agoney. UD Lanzarote adds the eleventh draw of the season and the point helps Ibarra to maintain the fourth position in the standings.

A poor first half was played by both teams on the field, with few dangerous chances that they were able to generate. The first 45 minutes had many interruptions, with the visiting team committing too many fouls to try to break the rhythm of UD Lanzarote. Actions that were not punished by the referee, with central defender Pablo leaving without any warnings after committing countless infractions.

Ibarra was forced to make a change in the 20th minute of the first half. In a play, Sandro dislocated his left shoulder and had to be replaced by his teammate Junior. The injured player had to be transferred to a medical center to assess the extent of the injury.

One of the few arrivals of the first half occurred in the 29th minute. Toñito tried to surprise the Ibarra goalkeeper with a cross-shot, with Edwin reacting to send the ball to a corner kick. As the minutes went by, UD Lanzarote began to have more possession of the ball. The first 45 minutes of play concluded with a goalless draw.

UD Lanzarote would take the lead on the scoreboard at the start of the second half. Kennedy made a good play down the right wing, winning the end line and putting the ball in for Quintero to send the ball into the back of the net from close range. The goal, far from giving tranquility to the local team, woke up Ibarra, a team that went in search of the equalizer.

The Tenerife team had a double chance in the 61st minute. A shot from Matías could not be blocked by Agoney, the rebound was finished by Manzi on the goalkeeper's body, and the second rebound was finished by Raúl, with Agoney responding again with a good intervention. Two minutes later, Matías puts a through ball for Manzi, and he fails to hit the target from inside the area.

UD Lanzarote had dangerously retreated, going on the counterattack to take advantage of the speed of Quintero and Borja Vera. It was precisely Quintero who made a good play in the 72nd minute, winning the end line on the right side and failing to beat goalkeeper Edwin, who sent the ball to a corner kick.

With three minutes remaining in the match, Juanra headed a ball inside the area, with Agoney responding with a good stretch to send the ball to a corner kick. The UD Lanzarote goalkeeper was becoming the star of his team, preventing, until that moment, Ibarra from getting the equalizer.

An equalizer that came in extra time. Iray Barreto was in charge of executing a free kick from the edge of the area, the ball went over the wall and slipped into the top corner of the goal defended by Agoney. The goalkeeper's stretch was impossible to stop Iray Barreto's masterful free kick.

With no time for more, the match came to an end, with UD Ibarra rescuing a point at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote and UD Lanzarote adding the eleventh draw of the season. The red and whites face CD Tenerife "B" next week, a match that is played on Sunday at 11:30 am at the Ciudad Deportiva Javier Pérez.
