The young gymnasts from the Lanzarote rhythmic gymnastics club Tenesa Sol became Canary Islands runners-up last weekend, in the regional base team championship that took place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. There were 10 teams that participated in this category, in which the gymnasts from Lanzarote performed well, showed their work and the effort they have made in recent months to achieve this well-deserved position.
And the runner-up position means an extra dose of motivation for these gymnasts to face the national championship, which will take place in November in Guadalajara. In addition to achieving this position, the gymnasts were also able to enjoy the performance of Carolina Rodríguez in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a member of the national rhythmic gymnastics team that represented Spain at the London Olympics.
Also, the participants in this championship were able to attend the clinic taught by this Olympic gymnast.
