This week, the Women's Marítima Orientation team, which competes in the Second RFEF, could not face Real Unión de Tenerife Santa Cruz, which is currently placed, after the triumph in Lanzarote, as leader in the category.

The match started disputed with a Lanzarote team well planted on the grass of Agapito Reyes Viera. In fact, despite the final result, the break was reached with 1-1 on the scoreboard.

It was the Chicharrero team that struck first. Half an hour into the game, Benchara Padilla made it 1-0 in a combined action, but Marítima did not give up. They managed to equalize before the break, in the 45th minute, through Giada Lecca, who gave hope to López's squad.

However, in the second act, the La Destila team could do little against the overwhelming attack of R.U Tenerife. The goals from Rose Heria (own goal) and Sara Sánchez caused Marítima to disconnect, finally conceding a 1-6.

In this way, and after the dispute of three matches (the Lanzarote team has one postponed against Levante B that will have to be recovered) the players led by Wilmar López still do not know what it is to score in a year that was already presumed complex because it should not be forgotten that this is the third national category of women's football.

The next match will take place on Sunday, September 29, in Madrid, where they will visit the Valle de Las Cañas to face CF Pozuelo.
