As expected, Club Lucha Tao demonstrated its superiority in the final of the thirty-third edition of the Island of Lanzarote Canarian Wrestling Tournament. A final in which CL Tao did not have to use fighters of the stature of Carlos Moreno or Mario Franquiz, being the tail and the average of the team that was in charge of defeating a CL Tinajo that never gave up. Marcial Viñoly, Highlighted B of CL Tinajo, soon was left alone in the face of danger and ended up being eliminated by the young Juan Miguel Gil.
CL Tao took a four-point lead on the scoreboard at the first change, thanks to the good performance of the youth team fighters. The cadet Miguel Reyes gave the two followed to Adargoma Rodríguez and Aythami Concepción. And the youths Cristo Betancort and Hacormar Elvira, did the same with Igodoy Navarro and Adrián Ventura, respectively.
The first points of CL Tinajo were achieved by Miguel Trujillo and Josué Cedrés "Puli". Miguel Trujillo gave the two followed to Cristo Betancort and Josué Cedrés, after the first separated grip, gave the second to Hacomar Elvira. The Tinajero David Pacheco fell eliminated against Alejandro Quesada, giving the first the fighter of Tao and being separated the second grip between both. Miguel Trujillo eliminated Alejandro Umpiérrez, adding the fighter of Tao four admonishments.
CL Tao continued to open the gap in the scoreboard, obtaining a rent of six points. Juan Miguel Gil began his good performance giving the two followed to Josué Cedrés and eliminating fight to fight to Miguel Trujillo. Alejandro Quesada starred in a sensational confrontation against Juan Rodríguez, eliminating the fighter of Tinajo fight to fight. The majorero Juan Miguel Gil continues to earn the praise of the lovers of this sport and was in charge of eliminating the Highlighted "B" of CL Tinajo. Juan Miguel Gil gave the two followed to Marcial Viñoly, putting the definitive 12 to 8 in the scoreboard.
At the conclusion of the final of the senior category of the Island of Lanzarote Canarian Wrestling Tournament, the trophies were awarded. Marcial Viñoly (CL Tinajo) was awarded with the trophy of maximum tumbler of the competition and Diego Pérez (CL Unión Sur Yaiza) was designated as the most spectacular fighter of the tournament. The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés, and the counselor of Sports, Patricia Pérez, were in charge of giving to the veteran Miguel Ángel Betancort, captain of CL Tao, the trophy of champion of the XXXIII Island of Lanzarote Canarian Wrestling Tournament.
