The sports management of CB San José Obrero continues to work on the preparation of the squad for its women's team, and to face with the maximum possible guarantees its second season in the Women's Gold Honor Division. The club
has closed the continuity of the goalkeeper Ana Marín, a player who will complete her fifth consecutive season in the CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife.
Ana Marín Pérez, born on January 8, 1997 in Mijas (Málaga), is a 1.75 meter tall goalkeeper with a great wingspan to stand between the posts. The goalkeeper has more than demonstrated, throughout her career at the club, her conditions in the goal, always having a good understanding with the defensive line.
She joined the ranks of San José Obrero in the 2019/2020 season and since then she has been growing hand in hand with the team from the Titerroy neighborhood. She began her journey at the club in the Women's Silver Honor Division, had the opportunity to debut with the team in the Liga Guerreras Iberdrola and last year defended the goal in the newly released Women's Gold Honor Division.
The next one will be her fifth season in the ranks of CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, becoming one of the important players on and off the court. With San José Obrero she has a total of 98 official matches in league competition; 22 in Liga Guerreras Iberdrola, 54 in Women's Silver Honor Division and 22 in Women's Gold Honor Division.
Ana Marín becomes the second renewal of CICAR Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife for the 2023/2024 season, and joins the continuity of the extreme Jazmín Mendoza. The sports management of San José Obrero continues to work on the preparation of the squad and to be able to compete with the maximum guarantees in the Women's Gold Honor Division.
