The "Villarreal CF Carnival Campus" was held over five working days, in collaboration with CD Orientación Marítima. A hundred children participated showing a high level, which left the technicians of Villarreal C.F. very satisfied, who decided to extend the selection from 2 to 4 players to participate in an international tournament with Villarreal CF.
The young Samuel Cabrera (CD Teguise), Cristofer Bolivar, Martín Cabrera and Hugo Blanco, all three from CD Orientación Marítima, were selected for the high level shown. Each of the participants in the Campus received an individual photo and a diploma accrediting their participation.
The collaboration of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Turismo Lanzarote, Arrecife City Council, the involvement of parents, mothers and fans, "have served to confirm a new edition of the Villarreal CF Campus, which will be held next year".
The collaborating entities were present at the closing ceremony represented by the vice president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Marcos Bergaz; the Councilor for Sports of Arrecife, Rosmen Quevedo; the delegate of the FIFLP, José Valido and the capital councilor Roy Gonzalez.
