Last Saturday, the goal of raising awareness and supporting the projects of the Lanzarote Association for Assistance in Multiple Sclerosis (ALanEM) was achieved thanks to the solidarity of the people who, once again, welcomed the seventh edition of MSRUN Lanzarote with open arms.
David Morales (00:30:10) and Raquel Salvador (00:37:36) were the winners of the 8-kilometer category. Javier López (00:31:54) and Juan Gregorio Tovar (00:31:59) followed Morales; and Patricia Curbelo (00:39:02) and Cristina Fernández (00:41:28) accompanied Salvador on the women's podium.
Joel Concepción (00:15:01), Eusebio Velasco (00:15:11) and Gus Vs (00:15:14), topped the men's classification of 4km. While Cristina Capitán (00:15:33), Aoibheann Ryan (00:15:50) and Elizabeth Rosa (00:16:42), did the same in the women's.
This charity event started from 10:00 in the morning. on the Arrecife esplanade, where they were able to warm up to the rhythm of the Villa Pipol batucada. The first shift was for the 200-meter children's race and the one-kilometer circuit.
After the competitions, an awards ceremony was held to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis, an occasion that was well used by both the Lanzarote society and large and small private companies and public institutional entities, to show their full support for the objectives set by this charitable MSRUN Lanzarote.
This edition of the event was supported by the Arrecife City Council and the Lanzarote Cabildo, as well as the collaboration of the “La Caixa” Foundation through CaixaBank, Bodegas El Grifo, Rancho Texas Park, Radisson Blu and Laboratorios Merck Group.
