The gymnast from Lanzarote, Ray Zapata, qualified this Saturday for the final of the floor exercise at the Paris Olympic Games, thanks to his third position with 14,600 points.
With a brilliant exercise, Ray shares the top spots with Jake Jarman from Great Britain and the Filipino gymnast, Carlos Yulo.
Zapata is thus aiming to win his second medal at an Olympic Games. As will be recalled, the athlete won a silver medal in Tokyo four years ago.
The men's floor gymnastics final will be on August 3 at 2:30 p.m. (Canary time) at the Bercy Arena.
