The Lanzarote team formed by Samuel Lemes and Jonathan Lemes are competing together again tomorrow, Saturday, to contest the VI Rallye Puerto del Rosario, driving the usual Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI with which they are doing the season in the Canary Islands. The driver from Lanzarote is participating with the intention of continuing to drive and not lose the rhythm to face the last rounds of the national championship with maximum guarantees.
The event in Fuerteventura will start at ten in the morning from the Avenida Marítima in Puerto del Rosario, ending in the same place at 17:45 hours. In between, ten special stages, making a total of 57.30 timed kilometers, starting with "El Time-Cuesta Perico" (16.80 kms. at 10:20, 11:00 and 11:40 h.), and continuing with "La Caldereta-La Caleta" (9.10 kms. at 13:00, 13:40, and 14:20 h.), "Las Cañadas-Tefia" (3.30 km. at 15:30 and 16:00 h.) and "Circuito Cororasa" (3.30 km. at 17:00 and 17:25 h.). The current champion of the Canary Islands of the specialty, and current leader of the national rallyes de tierra, will not be alone next Saturday, as the list of entrants presents an important squad.
Samuel and Jonathan Lemes' intention is not to be inactive before the outcome of the national championships, although they will not stop fighting for the victory in Fuerteventura, as well as pleasing the fans with their dedication in the sections selected by the organization.
Samuel Lemes said yesterday in relation to the event in Fuerteventura that: "We are attending this event in Fuerteventura in order not to be inactive for the rest of the season and to continue maintaining our rhythm, and it is always good to receive the warmth of our fans, whom you always miss when you participate in the Peninsula. Sportingly we will try to have fun and if possible fight for the victory, which will surely be a complicated task given the entry list of the event. We don't have any kind of pressure and we are going to try to do our best."
