Escudería Lanzarote starts the motor season in Lanzarote and the Island Championship, consolidating itself as the 1st Escudería in teams, highlighting the participation of 24 teams registered of the 30 that will take the start in the 'XVI I Rally Sprint La Candelaria' and that all the drivers are from the island and helping to achieve a sports project of three women in the tasks of co-piloting. The Escudería has helped them to train and forge these projects for the 2024 season.
Highlighting within the registered the best drivers of Lanzarote who will be competing in the Island championship, among the favorites Antonio Suarez with Kimberly Gonzalez and several rivals who will make this Rally Sprint interesting as those of the Rally 4 category, Anibal Machín and Marlene Parrilla and Alfredo Guerra with Lara Curbelo with Peugeot 200 Rally 4, Oscar Cabrera and Aitor Cambeiro with Citroen C 3 Rally 2. Rayco Rodriguez debuts with a new mount with Christopher with the Citroen DSE R 3T MAX, being assured the level of competitiveness with the best drivers of the island.
The Mayor of the City Council of Tias, Jose Juan Cruz Saavedra, has informed of the closure of the Central Avenue Alcalde Florencio Suárez in the section between the road of the Fajardos (roundabout of the Hermitage of San Antonio) and Libertad Street (roundabout of the repera). The closure will take place from 14:00 hours on March 8 to 20:00 hours on March 9.
