Four hundred runners will participate in the 3rd edition of the 'Haría Music Run Night' this Saturday

The Haría City Council has presented the third edition of the Haría Music Run Night, a night event that has
consolidated in the municipality's calendar of activities. The sports event will take place on Saturday, August 9.

The route will start from the urban area of the northern town, at 9:30 p.m.

The presentation ceremony was presided over by the mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports, Alberto de León; the Councilor for Physical Activity of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Juan Monzón; the Councilor for Youth, Aroa Revelo; the CEO of the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society, Héctor Fernández and the
person in charge of social responsibility at the Tourist Centers, Elizabeth Cedrés.

Mayor Alfredo Villalba highlighted that this activity represents much more than a race. "It is a space for intergenerational meeting, where sport is combined with culture and music, promoting an active life and strengthening citizen participation," he explained.

For his part, the Councilor for Sports, Alberto de León, stressed that "this competition reflects the joint effort to offer citizens quality events that value the municipality and promote healthy lifestyle habits."

This edition will feature the participation of 400 runners, reaching the total number of places available. Before the start of the race, attendees can enjoy zumba sessions, live DJ and other surprises.

After the awards ceremony, which will take place after the race, the musical performances of the Rikabanda and Café con Leche groups will begin.

The collection of bib numbers will take place on Friday, August 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Arrieta teleclub. Likewise, the population is informed that the street closure will take place on Saturday, August 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The Haría Music Run Night has the collaboration of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, the SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote and the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, as well as private sponsors.
