A movie-like Quemao Class comes to an end. It has been two intense days full of the best surfing and bodyboarding in the world, with epic wave conditions and impressive performances by all participants.

In the surfing final, the Basque Natxo González, the French Marc Lacomare, Tim Elter, from Fuerteventura and Hugo Ortega, from Barcelona, faced each other.

After a very close final with incredible performances, the Basque surfer Natxo González took an epic victory, obtaining two waves of 10. He said he was speechless, with immense happiness. "When you are invited to the Quemao Class you feel like the lucky one, being able to come and compete in one of the best waves in the world and have it for you and only three other people, it is something impressive." In addition, he not only obtained the victory, but also won the RVCA Best Wave for the best surfing wave of the entire event.

Marc Lacomere, second classified, also highlighted how incredible the wave conditions were, the great opportunity it has been to compete in Lanzarote and that he ends very happy with his results.

The third place went to Tim Elter, the surfer from Fuerteventura. He commented that he felt surprised and honored by the invitation. He also added that "the event has been incredible, with very good waves and a spectacular level".

In fourth place, Hugo Ortega, from Barcelona. This was his first time competing in the Quemao Class and he leaves with very good feelings, having enjoyed this incredible wave and wanting to repeat.

In bodyboarding, the final was played between the Gran Canaria natives Lionel Medina and Armides Soliveres, Aitor Ojeda, from Fuerteventura and the local from La Santa Pablo Lecouey.

The public enjoyed a very exciting final in which the Gran Canaria native Lionel Medina prevailed with two great waves, a 10 and a 9.35. He said that winning has been the greatest achievement of his career and wanted to thank his family for the support received.

For his part, Pablo Lecouey, won the second place and also the award for the best Bodyboard maneuver. He was also "very happy, it is the first time that I have completed a championship so well, and even more so if it has been at home, with all my people and my family, now waiting to repeat next year".

The bodyboarder from Fuerteventura Aitor Ojeda finished in third place and "very happy to be another year in Lanzarote and to be able to compete in such an incredible event as this to remember David Infante "El Fula".

The fourth place went to the Gran Canaria native Armides Soliveres, who wanted to thank for the opportunity to compete together with athletes of this level.

At the awards ceremony, we had the presence of the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín; the sports councilor of the City Council of Tinajo, Vianney Rodríguez; Ruyman Rey, owner of Pura Vida; Dani García, representing Billabong; Lorenzo Suárez, representative of RVCA in the Canary Islands; and Fran Saenz, co-organizer of the event.

The mayor, Jesús Machín, highlighted the importance of this event, which promotes a very healthy sport, and that in its 6th edition has brought athletes from all over the world to Tinajo.

Fran Saenz concluded by saying that "after these years that we have spent, having been able to celebrate and enjoy this event, the response and support of all the people of La Santa, the public, the competitors, the quality of the waves, has been something really exciting. Thank you to all those who have accompanied and collaborated to celebrate this event. Next year we will be here again. And tell "El Fula" that we have been here for him and that this event is done for you".

This year 2021 ends in the best possible way, with the 'Quemao Class presented by Billabong' crowning its new champions and leaving behind the unforgettable images of this incredible wave.
