The Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park in San Bartolomé hosted this weekend the 'I Motor Fest' organized by Escudería Lanzarote. An event where the public could enjoy the more than 40 vehicles participating, including Rally cars, drifting, Kart Cross, Quads, Motocross Motorcycles, Jet Skis and 4x4 competition vehicles, as well as workshops and music to liven up the atmosphere.
The public attending the party could not only observe the wonders of each car, but also share the explanations of the drivers and also take photos with them. The Insular Champion of Lanzarote of Motoring Toñin Suarez, the Spanish Runner-up of motor boating Daniel Hernández, Alex de Drifting and the rest of the drivers were present.
The president of La Escudería Lanzarote, Daniel Mesa, feels "happy with how the event has turned out", he highlighted. The Motor Fest was a "success", since the objectives were to bring the world of motoring closer to the fans. The event had a large number of visitors and recognition from the athletes. Without forgetting the objective of raising funds to continue supporting the competition teams that run with Escudería Lanzarote, with the collaboration of the registrations and administrative issues.
The Mayor of the City Council of San Bartolomé Isidro Perez, thanked Escudería Lanzarote for holding this event and pointed out that "we will do everything possible to ensure that this festival is maintained in future editions in San Bartolomé", and "give the support and the option of holding a Motoring event in the municipality". In addition, he wanted to highlight the offer of "collaboration to have the headquarters in the municipality".
