Magec Tías Against Gender Violence achieved its seventh victory of the season in the Women's League 2, after defeating ADBA Sanfer at the Avilés Sports Complex. The team led by Jesús García, who traveled with eight players to the peninsula, dominated the match from the first quarter, where they imposed their two-point shot and their inside game, and managed to maintain the advantage until the end, despite the locals' attempts to react.

The first quarter was controlled by the visitors, who were superior to their rival from the beginning, and little by little they imposed the differences on the scoreboard. At the end of the first partial, the result was favorable for the Lanzarote team by 9 to 15.

In the second quarter, the inside game of the Lanzarote team, with an accurate Verónica Matoso, who scored 10 points in this period, led the visitors to have up to 11 points of difference, which was reduced in the last stages of the second quarter with a triple by ADBA Sanfer, to conclude 22 to 30.

Magec Tías Against Gender Violence came out well placed on the court again, maintaining a lead on the scoreboard of more than 10 points for almost the entire quarter, reaching a maximum difference of 15 points. The locals, who soon began to accumulate personal fouls and live close to the bonus, were surpassed by the Lanzarote team, who based on struggle, head and an excellent defense managed to have a relatively calm match. The third quarter ended with the score of 33 to 45.

The points in the last quarter were not many, with the defenses prevailing over the attacks and with long possessions. Thus, time passed almost faster than the points, with the tranquility that it was giving to the islanders, who little by little were seeing themselves as winners. The match concluded with the score of 43 to 54, with victory for the players of Jesús García, who add their seventh victory of the season, moving a little further away from the relegation places.

In the next match, Magec Tías Against Gender Violence receives Náutico de Tenerife, which has 6 victories, at the Lanzarote Sports City Pavilion, on Saturday at 7:00 p.m., with free admission. It will be a duel between two teams fighting for permanence in the category.
