With this victory, the 12th of the season, the island team equals its best record in the Women's League 2, reached in the 2020/2021 season, and is positioned seventh in the table, tied with Náutico de Tenerife, which has one more game.
The match started with a tactical approach focused on defense, which resulted in a first quarter with little scoring. Both teams were solid at the back, seeking to neutralize the opponent's strengths. It was not until the second period when Ciudad de Móstoles managed to find fissures in the local defensive structure, making better use of their offensive options to go to the break with a slight advantage on the scoreboard (26-31).
