Magec Tías Lanzarote Against Gender Violence once again showed their excellent sporting form, after defeating Ciudad de Móstoles this weekend by 70 to 64, in a demanding match that was resolved in the final stages. With this victory, the 12th of the season, the island team equals its best record in the Women's League 2, reached in the 2020/2021 season, and is positioned seventh in the table, tied with Náutico de Tenerife, which has one more game.

The match started with a tactical approach focused on defense, which resulted in a first quarter with little scoring. Both teams were solid at the back, seeking to neutralize the opponent's strengths. It was not until the second period when Ciudad de Móstoles managed to find fissures in the local defensive structure, making better use of their offensive options to go to the break with a slight advantage on the scoreboard (26-31).

Far from falling apart, Magec Tías Lanzarote opted for the depth of the bench as a strategic weapon. The constant rotations applied by the coaching staff allowed the players to stay fresh physically and mentally, preparing the ground for a second half in which the team would change the course of the match.

The third quarter showed the best version of Magec Tías, with a notable improvement in attack. The offensive contribution was key to reversing the score, managing to finish this period with a five-point advantage over their rival. Already in the last quarter, despite losing several players due to accumulated fouls, the Lanzarote team knew how to manage the times and neutralize the comeback attempt of the Madrid team, asserting their experience and composure in the decisive minutes.

The final 70-64 certifies a new victory for Magec Tías Lanzarote, which continues its winning streak and continues to grow in an exciting season. Currently in seventh place in the standings, the team is in full fight to climb positions, with the aim of closing the regular phase signing its best historical participation in the category.

The next appointment will be away, against Unilever Viladecans Dishelec65. A victory in this match would not only allow Jesús García's team to surpass their record of victories in the Women's League 2, but would also catapult them to sixth position in the table, with only one day left for the conclusion of the championship. From the club, we want to congratulate the coaching staff and the players for their dedication, as well as thank the fans for their constant support, vital in each step of this path.
