Important victory obtained by Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" against Gardenstore Baloncesto Sevilla Femenino by 68 to 60, forged especially in the second half, in a match that could have fallen on either side.

The match became clearly defensive at the beginning, with a Lanzarote team that found it difficult to take the reins and feel comfortable against the rival of this day. The problems for the red-and-black team were accentuated when Lade Adepoju and Carolina Mateo saw the first two personal fouls before reaching the middle of the first quarter, with the Lanzarote team behind on the scoreboard and with many difficulties to cope with the game proposed by the Seville team.

The situation became complicated in the second quarter with an advantage for the visiting team that reached up to 10 points, forcing Jesús García to stop the match again through a time-out. It seemed that nothing was working for the home team, which, no matter how much impetus it put in and even managed to have a 6-0 partial, did not manage to turn the match around. They improved in the last stages, going to the break with a three-point difference for the Andalusians, 30 to 33.

The return to the court was a resurgence for Jesús García's team, who regained their enthusiasm and released a much more effective basketball. Shortly after the match resumed, Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" managed to take the lead on the scoreboard and even made their rival a 10-0 partial that allowed them to have a wide advantage, although this was gradually dynamited as the minutes passed. Fernando Planelles also made his players react and the Seville team rejoined the game, turning the score around again and predicting a very intense and exciting last quarter.

With the electronic scoreboard reflecting a score of 45 to 49 for the Andalusians, the match became frenetic. It seemed that the teams had forgotten about the defenses and were decidedly looking to extend the differences to have a much more pleasant end to the match. Again, Magec Tías managed to take the lead on the scoreboard, but soon Gardenstore Baloncesto Sevilla Femenino returned the tie to the electronic scoreboard or turned it around.

This is how the seconds and minutes passed in this last quarter, where the alternative was at times for the Lanzarote girls and at times for the girls

from Seville. It was in the last minutes when the balance was finally tipped in favor of the players trained by Jesús García, who knew how to temper their nerves better than the rival team and leave the victory in Lanzarote, by 68 to 60.

Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" thus achieves its third consecutive victory and the ninth in the competition, climbing one position in the standings and placing fifth, just one victory away from the fourth position that would give them access to the promotion phase, but without forgetting what the objective has been since the beginning of the season, to avoid relegation, a situation from which the Lanzarote team is currently three victories ahead.

The team from the municipality of Tías will play again at home next week, receiving the visit of CB Aridane. The match against the team from La Palma will be played on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Municipal Pavilion of Tías and, if there are no modifications, the referees will be Sergio Palazón Ramos and Alberto Gamero Luque.
