UD Lanzarote won a point in a stadium that historically has not been entirely good for them, facing a very combative Estrella that has improved in recent days with the change of coach. It was Estrella who took the lead in the first half of the match, putting the Rojillos in trouble and having chances to increase the difference. It was in the final stretch of the match when UD Lanzarote managed to tie the score, thanks to a good free kick executed by Marcos Cabrera from the edge of the area. A point that allows UD Lanzarote to maintain the differences with respect to the pursuers and be three points behind a CD Marino that occupies the leadership.

The first minutes of the match were marked by equality on the field, although Estrella CF dominated slightly. It was Rosmen who first tried with a shot that did not find the three posts of the local goal. Estrella was forced to make a change before the first quarter of an hour. Goalkeeper Santi Hidalgo had discomfort since the warm-up and in the 14th minute had to give his place to goalkeeper Pablo.

Estrella CF would take the lead in the 24th minute of the first half. A cross from Víctor was deflected by defender Falo to avoid Yeray Sosa's shot and in the end the ball would end up sneaking into his own goal.

Estrella CF kept trying, a team that grew with the goal scored and had chances through Yeray Sosa, Echedey Mayor and Ruymán. UD Lanzarote also had dangerous actions to tie the score, the clearest being a cross-shot from Mauri that goalkeeper Pablo would end up clearing for a corner. With the score of 1 to 0, the first half of the match came to an end.

At the beginning of the second half, Estrella CF could have scored the second goal. As soon as the ball was put into play, Pepollo saw goalkeeper Rayco's advanced position, trying to surprise him with a distant shot that went close to the squad of the goal.

UD Lanzarote was stretching lines in search of the goal that would give them the tie. Before the first quarter of an hour of the second half, Marcos Cabrera executed a free kick that forced goalkeeper Pablo to go all out to avoid the equalizer. The response from Estrella CF was immediate, arriving with a good action from Yeray Sosa in which he was left in front of Rayco, not being successful in the one-on-one.

With four minutes left for the conclusion of the match, the action arrived that gave the Rojillo team the tie. The referee decreed a foul on the edge of the area, an action that could even have been punished as a penalty. Marcos Cabrera was in charge of executing the foul, the ball passed through a cloud of players and would end up sneaking into the goal defended by Pablo.

Estrella finished the match with numerical inferiority. Fefo was sent off with a straight red card. There were hardly any dangerous actions in the little time that remained until the end of the match. With the tie at one goal, the match came to an end, adding the D Lanzarote that allows them to continue in the second position of the standings.
