Very good performance by Javier Cañada and Aday Ortiz, who were placed third in the #ClioTrophySpainAsfalto in the shakedown in the first test for them against rivals with much more experience on this mount and also in the Sierra Morena.
The first stage of the Sierra Morena Rally has adapted very well to the rhythm of the #ClioTrophySpainAsfalto, running in the third position of the single-brand, Javier Cañada and Aday Ortiz enjoyed the second stage comfortably installed in the third place of the #ClioTrophySpainAsfalto, making a very good first section to distance their pursuers and thus achieve a podium that gives many points to open the scoreboard.
The Cordovan event, with asphalt as the surface, posed a new challenge on an unknown environment for the tandem composed of Javier Cañada and Aday Ortiz in Córdoba Heritage of Humanity, the first of this adventure through peninsular territory, achieving a time of 2.08.33 with the Renault Clio Rally5 and the 19th place overall in the Sierra Morena International Rally.
Javier Cañada "It is an honor to share with you my recent debut in the peninsular lands. As a driver from Lanzarote, this experience meant an exciting step forward in my career, debuting with a new car, a different team and a new co-driver, in addition to facing unknown layouts, has been a challenge that we approached with enthusiasm and determination. I am grateful for the unwavering support of my co-driver and the exceptional TRS team, although there is still much work ahead."
The team recognizes that their competitors have an advantage by having more experience with their vehicles and the layouts, but they are committed to working even harder.
Cañada deeply appreciates the continued support of Escudería Lanzarote, Cabildo de Lanzarote, Falp, Volante falp,TRS, seve motor, “bar restaurante fomento de tao el rubio”, bar Cafeteria el Gaire to all of you, and I eagerly await what the rest of the season holds for us.
