The Lanzarote Sports City registered a great entrance on Sunday morning, around 2,000 spectators, to experience the first derby in history between UD Lanzarote and San Bartolomé CF in the Third Federation. The two teams offered an even match in the first half, and the match was decided on the side of the Rojillos in the second half with goals from Gonzalo Di Renzo and Ismael Traore.
The first half was quite even, with UD Lanzarote facing a well-positioned rival on the field that barely left spaces in its lines. The locals were barely able to generate danger on the goal defended by Agoney, and only highlight a shot by Ayoze Pérez from the front that touched a defender, the ball going close to the base of the post.
The second half started in an unbeatable way for the interests of UD Lanzarote. In the first minute of the game, Santi Rosa executed a free kick from the left side, Gonzalo Di Renzo won the game against the defenders and finished at the goal mouth to make the first for the Rojillos.

On Wednesday, UD Lanzarote faces the first round of the national phase of the Copa Federación, visiting CD Guadalajara.
