La Factoría Azarug Tinajo added a point in their debut in the Second Division B of Futsal, after tying one goal against Malta 97´Gran Canaria. A match in which both teams showed that they were at the beginning of the season, with many physical and tactical shortcomings and that they should improve during the development of the competition. Jhony scored the equalizing goal for the Tinajo team when there were only three minutes left for the conclusion of the match.
It was not a very attractive match that La Factoría Azarug Tinajo and Malta 97´ developed. The pace of the match was sluggish, without speed and most of the attacks were static. After a balanced start to the match, Malta 97 took control of the game. The first warning from the Gran Canaria team came in the 3rd minute. Alejandro put a ball from the right side and Juanki's close-range shot did not find the three posts.
Malta 97 was approaching with great danger to the vicinity of the area defended by Yeray. In the 4th minute, Alejandro stood alone before the local goalkeeper, Yeray emerging victorious. It was in the middle of the first half when La Factoria Azarug Tinajo began to shake off the dominance of the visitors.
The first warning came in the 14th minute. Giovanni, with a very intentional shot, looked for the base of the goal post and found the hand of goalkeeper Dimas. The response from Malta 97´ was immediate and came with a shot from David, to which Yeray responded with a good intervention. With the score tied at zero, the first 20 minutes of the match would come to an end.
At the beginning of the second half, Malta 97´ suffered the expulsion of their goalkeeper. Dimás touched the ball with his hand outside the area and cut off a counterattack from the locals. The referees, with good judgment, showed the red card to the Malta 97 goalkeeper. These were the best minutes of La Factoría Azarug Tinajo on the playing field and they eagerly sought the opposite goal.
When La Factoría Azarug Tinajo was trying the most, the goal came that put Malta 97 ahead on the scoreboard. After a series of rebounds, David finished inside the area and his shot sneaked inside the goal. In the middle of the second half, things got more complicated for the locals, as they committed the fifth foul. Minutes later, it was Malta 97´ who committed the same infraction.
The equalizing goal would come with three minutes left for the conclusion of the match. It was Jhony who entered the right wing and with a crossed shot sent the ball inside the goal. The final minutes of the match were frenetic, the score not moving and the match ending with a one-goal tie.
