The sailors of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife continue to achieve important successes in the world of sailing at an international level, this time competing in the 40th Copa del Rey - Mapfre, in which boats from the Netherlands, the United States of America, Italy, Great Britain, France, Belgium and Spain participated.
Rayco Tabares, Alfredo González, Héctor González and Federico Morales, conquered the title in the Swan 42 class with the Spanish boat "Nadir" of the Club de Vela Puerto Andratx (Mallorca) skippered by Pedro Vaquer.
In the general classification they shared the podium with the "Koyre Spirit of Nerina (USA) second classified and the Spanish "Pez de Abril" which finished third, both finished 6 points behind the winners.
