The cadet players of Club Balonmano Puerto del Carmen, Cristina Barrios, María Cedrés, Raquel Gómez and Kenia Hernández have been called up by the Royal Spanish Handball Federation to the national training camp that will take place from July 3 to 10 in the Burgos town of Briviesca.

Cristina Barrios is the most experienced, as she has been called up to this type of training camp on other occasions, having participated with the National Team in different international commitments. Despite her youth, at only 15 years old she has 5 international participations, she plays as a left back, having been proclaimed runner-up in Spain twice with Puerto del Carmen.

Raquel Gómez is the only left-handed player of those called up, she plays as a right back and this is the third time she has been called up to a national training camp, she is fourteen years old.

For Kenia Hernández and María Cedrés this is the first time they have attended a training camp. María is 14 years old and plays as a left winger, having made a very good impression in the past Spanish Club Championship. Kenia was recommended by the youth coach, since in the position she plays, as a pivot, there are very few players with her characteristics, she is strong, she marks well, she has good shooting quality and she also defends very well in the central positions.

Lanzarote handball does not stop producing future figures, which is why the player from CB Sogesport, Eva Guirado Tejera, has also been called up for the national children's category training camp. Eva will be with the best children in Spain at the Royal Spanish Handball Federation training camp from July 10 to 17 in Soria.
