Everything is ready for the engines to roar this Friday at the thirty-fourth edition of the Orvecame Rally ? Isla de Lanzarote. For two days, the roads of Lanzarote will become the stage for the Canary Islands Rally Championship, and hundreds of fans will enjoy the skill of the drivers on the slopes of the different timed sections. Yeray Lemes from Lanzarote, with the Ford Escort WRC, is emerging as the main favorite to win the Orvecame Isla de Lanzarote Rally.
The thirty-fourth edition of the Orvecame Isla de Lanzarote Rally will officially start from 6:00 p.m. on Friday. In the vicinity of the Cabrera Medina facilities, in Playa Honda, the Starting Ceremony will take place, and then the vehicles will be in the assistance area located next to the Arrecife Fairgrounds. This is the last event of the season, scoring for the Regional Rally Championship, the penultimate event of the Las Palmas Championship, and also valid for the Lanzarote Island Rally Championship and for events such as the BP Ultimate Trophy, Michelin Challenge, and Best Rookie Trophy-La Cuneta.net.
Finally, forty teams will start in the XXXIV Orvecame Isla de Lanzarote Rally. A list of entries headed by the world champion driver Yeray Lemes, who will have a Ford Escort WRC on this occasion and who will have Iván Rodríguez as co-driver. Another of the great favorites are Fernando Capdevilla and David Rivero with the Ford Focus WRC, who are virtual champions of the Regional Rally Championship. Once again, the Lanzarote drivers have not failed to attend the Orvecame Isla de Lanzarote Rally and will be the great entertainers of the event throughout the two days of competition. Alexis Romero, Rubén Curbelo, Yeray Guadalupe, Antonio Suárez, Camilo González or José Antonio Cardona, aspire to be fighting for the podium places and for this they have powerful mounts.
One of the most interesting duels throughout the season has been the one starring Raúl Quesada (VW Polo GTI) and Enrique Cruz (Ford Fiesta R2), and who will experience the last duel of the year in Lanzarote.
