Unión Deportiva Lanzarote is very close to closing an agreement with who will be their coach for the 2011-2012 season. Fabián Rivero Rodríguez is the best placed at the moment and even negotiations between both parties are very advanced. Fabián Rivero was this season the coach of CD Mensajero de La Palma.
The Board of Directors of UD Lanzarote has set its sights on Fabián Rivero Rodríguez and intends for the Tenerife coach to be the coach of the first team during the next season. Negotiations have accelerated in the last few hours, after the conversations that were being held with Quico de Diego broke down.
Fabián Rivero was this season coach of CD Mensajero on the island of La Palma and has coached teams such as CD Tenerife "B" and San Isidro.
UD Lanzarote hopes to close the hiring of its new coach in the next few hours and make it official in the first days of the week.
