Great match played by FC Puerto del Carmen to say goodbye to the 2021/2022 season, after winning against Real Unión de Tenerife “B” in a match where the tension was present for 90 minutes. Although there was nothing at stake, the two teams fought for the victory from the initial whistle, giving no respite to the opponent and eagerly seeking the rival goal.
The first goal of the match came in the first quarter of an hour, in the first clear attack by Real Unión de Tenerife “B”, with Teseida taking advantage of a local defensive error to enter between the defense and beat Naza. The Lanzarote team did not give up and pressured their rival in the ball exit, thus managing to turn the score around through two goals from Janet in the 25th minute and the 34th minute, to go to halftime with 2 to 1.
During the break, Marisol left the field, thus saying goodbye to what has been her team before embarking on a trip to the United States, where she will continue her studies and her sports career.

The second half was even more intense than the first. The Tenerife team managed to equalize shortly after the match resumed thanks to a goal from Teseida that gave wings to the visiting team. The locals, for their part, did not give up, and in the 65th minute they took the lead again by scoring Haimara from the penalty spot.
The electricity that the match was taking made it foreshadow that more goals would come, as it was in the 71st minute, in which Estela made it 3-3 and shortly after Paola managed to make it 3-4 in favor of the visitors.
At that moment, the local coach took the opportunity to make three changes in one go, removing defenders, reinforcing the center of the field and giving bite in attack. The pressure from the Lanzarote team on their rivals increased and they committed a new penalty near the end of the match, costing the Tenerife player the expulsion. The match had become somewhat rough, with many protests, forcing the referee to have to show several cards, with the visiting team's delegate also being sent off.
Amidst the commotion, Haimara took the opportunity to tie the score at four, scoring the penalty, shortly after Andrea Pérez managed to connect a strong shot from the edge of the area that adopted the perfect curve to enter the rival goal and make it 5 to 4 definitive.
With this result, the Tiñosero team finishes eighth in the standings with 32 points, laying the foundations to be able to compete next year in the category with young and experienced girls that will allow them to perform even better and achieve greater goals.
