Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote added a hard-fought victory against PAN Moguer, in a match that had to mature, being in the second half when it began to mark the differences in the score. A serious clash in defense by the players trained by Javier Ortigosa and in attack always looking for the best alternatives, knowing how to overcome the phases in which they rushed into the throws. The victory leaves Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote three points behind the second classified and the conejero team adds the second consecutive victory of this second part of the season.


From the beginning of the match, Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote took control of the match, being the team that began to mark the first differences in the score. Some incomes that were minimal since they did not exceed two goals in this first part of the match. The forces were leveling on the playing field. The defenses of both were the ones that prevailed over the attacks in this first part.

For their part, the locals knew how to overcome the adversities and were even able to score when they played with two fewer players on the court due to a double exclusion.

Four minutes before the end of the match, Rubén Caraballo established the maximum difference up to that moment on the scoreboard, surpassing the defense to put the 26 to 21. The players of PAN Moguer lowered their arms and were at the mercy of Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote in the final minutes. The Andalusians had run out of gas and had been physically diminished by the pace imposed by the players from the Titerroy neighborhood.

With the score of 29 to 24, the match came to an end, with Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote adding a new victory in the First National Men's Handball League. Two points that keep the Lanzarote team in fourth place in the standings and three points away from the position that would give them the right to play the promotion phase at the end of the season. In the next match, Ciudad de Arrecife Chacón Lanzarote visits La Salle, a team that has made its court a fort this season.
