Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero recovered the good feelings that led them to be one of the revelation teams of the category in the first round of the competition, adding a victory against Zumosol Ars Palma del Río and saying goodbye to their fans with joy. The Lanzarote team dominated the match from beginning to end, and only saw their victory threatened during the second half, at which point the team knew how to read the match perfectly and score the victory by 33 to 30.
Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero took to the court determined to take control of the match. With a very effective 6:0 defense and a devastating attack, the partial score in the first seven minutes of the game was 3-0. Luis Morín completed a quick counterattack to beat goalkeeper Agustín Krimer for the fourth time, causing the visiting coach to call the first timeout.
The Lanzarote team continued to increase the difference, playing a great game on the court and playing to what they know how to do. The goals of the Chilean Diego Reyes, Pedro Cabrera and Andrei Vakhnovich, allowed them to achieve a new partial score of 3-0, reflecting the score a clear 6 to 4 in favor of Ca´Mario Lanzarote near the equator of the first half.
Zumosol Ars Palma del Río needed the points to not depend on anyone to achieve permanence in the category. As the minutes went by, they were cutting the differences, until reaching a 14 to 12 that forced Jordi Lluelles to request a timeout. The first half ended with an outside shot by Diego Reyes, putting the score at 17 to 14 at the conclusion of the first 30 minutes of the match.
The second half began with Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero regaining its maximum difference, having a six-goal lead. The goals of Carmelo Álvarez and the Brazilian Marcio Da Silva, put the score at 21 to 15, with Víctor Montesinos requesting a timeout again. After the instructions from the bench, the visitors reacted with a partial score of 0-2.
A double exclusion of Alexis Rodríguez and Marcio Da Silva was used by Zumosol Ars Palma del Río to tie the score with nine minutes remaining. Martins established the 28 to 28, with Diego Reyes and Javi García, who again put Ca´Mario Lanzarote ahead. The last tie occurred when José Requena scored on the edge of the passive, putting the score at 30 to 30 on the scoreboard.
Ca´Mario Lanzarote San José Obrero was not willing to let the victory escape, dominating again the last five minutes of the match. Diego Reyes gave the initiative back to his team and Carmelo Álvarez scored from the right wing almost without an angle, to sentence the match and leave the victory in the Municipal Pavilion of Titerroy.
