The youth academy work that Club Balonmano San José Obrero has been doing is beginning to bear fruit, and the presence of players from the Lanzarote team in the different regional and national teams is becoming more and more common. On Friday, CB San José Obrero received the pleasant news of the call-up of the cadet Diana Martín to be part of the National Women's Promise Handball Team.

Diana Martín has become one of the regular players in the different concentrations carried out by the technical department of the Royal Spanish Handball Federation. The San José Obrero cadet player attended two concentrations of the national team last summer, participating in different training stages with players of her same age.

Diana Martín has been selected to be part of the National Women's Promise Team, which will concentrate from November 20 to 25 in Cantabria. The national coach, Pablo Perea, has called up 18 players to play in the International Tournament of Spain, facing Poland, Germany and France. A tournament that will serve to see the young promises of Spanish handball on the playing field.

On the other hand, the different combinations of the Canary Islands have already begun to prepare for the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Communities, scheduled for the first days of January. A total of 25 players from San José Obrero have been pre-selected to participate in the different training sessions scheduled for the coming weeks.

The members of CB San José Obrero who have been selected to participate in the training sessions held in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura are the following:

Men's Youth: Airan Padrón, Acoidán Cejas, Alejandro Morera, Iván Montoya, Joel Armas, Juan José Montoya, Valentín Perdomo, Damaico Perdomo and David Pérez

Women's Youth: Melania Cabrera and Hanna Logworth

Men's Infantil: Carlos Benítez, Pablo Rafael Guadalupe and Roberto Tavío

 

Women's Cadet: Diana Martín and Ithaysa Cubas

 

Men's Cadet: Alejandro Barrios, Mihai Marian, Asier Morillas, Cristian Machín, Heidel Catacuan, Juan Carlos Martín, Rafael Robayna, Rubén Rosendo and Roberto
